On the 2nd day in September, leaves have already started to speckle the trees along the Bow River with shades of yellow. The summer sun is still around but its daily visits are shorter. It feels like summer takes so long to arrive & says good-bye too quickly. The cool fall breeze has stepped in & sidewalks become the resting place for petals & leaves. There are those few days where you feel the in-between–summer’s warmth is still centre stage with the fall backdrop setting in. I love autumn for what it is but I do wish this could be a 5th season.
